Felix Sater

New York real estate developer, Russian mob associate, Trump partner and associate, past and current informant for the government. Boasted that he would obtain Vladimir Putin’s help for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.  Was involved in the failed Trump Tower Russia project.

Born Felix Mikhailovich Sheferovsky, in Moscow in 1996 to a Russian Jewish family. Immigrated as a child first to Isreal, then to the US.

According to the FBI, Sater’s father, Mikhail Sheferovsky, was an underboss for Russian boss-of-bosses Semion Mogilevich.

Sater spent 15 months in prison for a 1991 violent assault.

Pleaded guilty in 1998 to a $40 million stock fraud scheme orchestrated by the Russian mafia. Became an FBI/DOJ informant. Agreed in 2017 to assist with investigation of international money laundering.

From 2008 to 2011 worked at Mirax Group as senior advisor to Russian oligarch Sergei Polonsky.

Advisor/investor/partner with the Trump Organization on many projects. At Bayrock from 2006-2010 played a major role in construction of Trump Soho, a collaboration between The Trump Organization, Bayrock and Tamir Sapir.

Currently a senior advisor at TxOil, a Turkemenistan-based oil company.
